1/9/2023 0 Comments Fanatec wrc 9 settings![]() I am using a Fanatec CSW 2.5 base, Universal Hub w/ R330 rim, CS v3 Pedals with BPK, and CS Handbrake. There is a lot of good info that I hope will help others enjoy this game as much as I and other have, and to get it to even more of a true sim feeling as it can provide.įirst, I will note that I play on PC. Tip: Perhaps the guys from SimExperience can make this title a bit more interesting by giving WRC 4 access to SimVibeīut other than that I can't see myself playing this title a great deal.Good morning all! This is going to be somewhat of a long post, so bear with me please. A good thing the overal Menu has got a much more serious design in compare to the dated kiddy illustrations-menu from WRC 3 A good thing Milestone skipped the 'drive through carton boxes nonsense' invented by Codemasters To much an arcade game (75% arcade - 25% sim) The tracks are -as usual- to short 7 km (as I can recall) is the longest distant. Car sounds are too much electronic (we are asking Milestone for better carsounds for almost 3 versions of WRC by now) The track-graphics are a bit better then last year, but nothing to get really excited about No feel at all no rumble or vibration (again better in WRC 3) Steering is to mechanical (I think WRC 3 had better steering) ![]() Tried the PC version of Milestone's with my Fanatec ClubSportWheel (BMW rim) past weekend. I can confirm that setting Fanatec Wheel Properties to Combined Pedals removes the 50% dead zone on the pedals. Look forward to trying that when I get my monitors in a month or two. Happy to hear about triple screen support. Good fun, though not completely realistic. This is more like a return of the old Codemasters Colin McRae Rally games. But it's a new game with a custom engine. I like the original concept of WRC by far the most.just chasing time on a good variety of tracks and a championship - don't need/want career mode btw. Sorry about being so negative.just frustrated. Give us RBR with updated graphics in a stable and easy to install package.just like any other computer game. It's good to fire up at a party, but no rally sim at all imo.just boring - no challenge. Yeah, RBR.but graphics sucks and set up is a pain in the ar$e.tried it - failed.Īfter playing Dirt for a while I just got more and more disappointed. It's a pity there's no decent rally sim around. Well, that doesn't sound very encouraging. so here's hoping that we see some patches for WRC 4 too. Moto GP 13 got 2 patches from Milestone this year. Look forward to playing more and getting in to the career mode.Īlso, would love to hear from the ISR boys or anyone with triple screen setups. but it's got plenty of content to explore, and it's probably around the gameplay and physics level of the old Colin McRae Rally games. This needs to be fixed.Ĭause otherwise the game is enjoyable. here you can see that both the gas and brake (for my pedal set) have about 40-50% dead zone before any input is recongised by the game. In the advanced wheel settings page (F3) when you're highlighted on a pedal setting you can press F2 to test the input. Just heavy/tight if you have grip, and light/loose if you have no grip. ![]() no rumble or vibration for off road or hitting things. Having to play down at 300 degrees (same as I use for F1 2013) to make it playable.įorce Feedback. But with that enabled, the wheel set to 900 degrees feels unresponsive and has a HUGE dead zone. 900 degrees is an option on the second page. Fanatec GT3 RS V2 + CSR Elite Pedals (plugged-in via wheel base). and that is my wheel is working, and not causing any odd menu reactions.
